“Art is something that makes you breathe with a different kind of happiness”- Anni Albers.
When words are not enough, art comes in handy to express one’s love and emotions to others. To be an artist takes a lot of time to shape. It is something that is not achieved, preferably something that has already been inherited in you, and you just polish it and shine it brighter.
Born on March 30th, 1853, Vincent van Gogh never thought he would be popular. He is the artist who painted the ‘Starry Night.’ He and his works were influenced by and influenced many famous artists. He couldn’t paint much of his imagination and art into actions as he was called into the grave at a young age. He managed to paint 900 paintings and 1000 plus sketches, lithographs, and other works. He was such a wonderful artist that even at present, his work is embraced. In the following post, we will come across a few of his best-renowned works.

When he glanced outside the asylum window, his vision became transfixed in the countryside that was illuminated by the bright stars in the sky. He called this vision as Starry Night, thus the name of the painting. Even though he made certain elimination and addition while painting, it came out as one of his masterpieces in history and literature.

As you can see, during his lifetime, he had a special interest in painting yellow flowers, especially sunflowers. When he moved to a yellow-painted home, there were sunflower vases all around him, which may have inspired him to draw three of the best sunflower paintings with heavy strokes.
3. “The Night Café,” September 1888
The third one is the Night Cafe, once he painted the picture, he himself called the picture as the “one of the ugliest pictures I have done.” He spends many nights at a cafe picturizing the club and various events that took place in them.
4. “The Potato Eaters,” April 1885
The last one on the list is non-other than the “The Potato Eaters,” which is known as one of the masterpieces painted by the painter himself. The way he chose to paint this piece of art was very heart whelming that later the technique was blended in various other artworks as well.
