The goal in my work is not to create a painting, but rather a discovery. A discovery of perfect beaches in my mind. I'm not to worried about the do's and don'ts. For me without breaking the rules the discovery would not be as unique. For when my mind and the canvas are able to re-create these places I have succeeded."
